Our fourth generation enterprise SAS SSD, the PX05S Series, builds on the immensely popular PX04S Series. With a 12.0 Gbit/s SAS interface and huge capacities up to 3.84TB, the PX05SR Series is built for read-intensive application workloads such web servers, data warehousing, media streaming, and video on demand.

The series’ 1,400–1,800 MB/s sequential read speed and 270K IOPS sustained random read performance enable read-intensive application workloads to achieve better results and help businesses minimize total cost of ownership while preserving high performance, endurance, and reliability for maximum scalability.

With a unique feature that allows for customer-tuning, the series is optimized for applications requiring 1 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD). This allows for customization for either maximum performance or power efficiency. Complete data path protection and power-loss protection are extra features. Pin-3 power disable is supported by all models, providing enhanced control over storage media via enclosure services. There are other self-encrypting disk choices that offer instantaneous secure erasure.
