The Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo is a desktop label printer that combines two print mechanisms in one chassis: a direct thermal LabelWriter engine for die-cut labels and a D1 tape mechanism for durable laminated tape labels. It is aimed at offices, mailrooms, and facilities teams that need both address and shipping labels and longer-lasting cable, shelf, or equipment tape labels from a single device. The label side prints at 600 x 300 dpi in label graphics mode at up to 71 labels per minute on four-line address labels, while the tape side prints at 150 x 150 dpi. Media support covers die-cut LabelWriter labels up to 62 mm wide plus DYMO D1 tape cassettes in 6, 9, 12, 19, and 24 mm widths, with a 2.4 in print width. The printer connects over USB 2.0.
