Product Overview
The Microscan MS-3 is a miniature fixed-mount laser bar code scanner designed to be built into machines, test fixtures, and automated handling equipment. At about two ounces it fits into tight mechanical spaces where a full-size industrial scanner would not, while still decoding at high speed on a moving line. This scanner uses laser scanning at up to 1000 decodes per second over a read range of 2 to 10 inches (51 to 254 mm). It measures 1.75 in x 0.85 in (44.5 mm x 21.6 mm), weighs 2 oz (57 g), carries an IP54 enclosure rating, and supports RS-232, RS-422/485, Keyboard Wedge, and USB interfaces.
