The Opticon RS-3000 is a wearable 2D ring barcode scanner built for hands-free picking, sorting, and parcel handling in warehouses and distribution centers. Worn on the finger with an adjustable strap, it keeps both hands free for handling goods while pairing wirelessly with a host phone, tablet, or mobile computer. The RS-3000 uses a 640 x 480 black-and-white CMOS area sensor with a scan rate of up to 100 frames per second and connects over Bluetooth 4.2 (BLE) with SPP and HID profiles. The scanner body weighs approximately 26.2 g, or 34.4 g with the bracket, carries an IP42 rating, and runs up to 20 hours per charge using Qi wireless or USB-C charging.
